When the team at Canada’s Food Island – Prince Edward Island called on BONAFIDE to develop a way to for them connect with chefs and restauranteurs, we assembled an incredible team to execute and document the introduction of PEI’s finest makers, producers and products to this Alberta market.
From an industry mixer led by Effin’ Seafood to a 200-person ticketed consumer event hosted at ATRIUM, we had the pleasure of showcasing Lobster PEI, PEI potatoes, Certified PEI Beef, Maritime Madness hot sauce,COWS Creamery cheese and butter, Atlantic Aqua Farms mussels, AppleKiss beverages, Deep Roots Distillery Vodka at events both Edmonton and Calgary – with media stops and interviews at Global Edmonton, 880 CHED, The Tomato Magazine and CBC Radio
We assembled a dream team of Alberta chefs to use PEI ingredients at the first ever Canada’s Food Island Culinary Showcase with Calgary Chefs Sterling Cummings from Bridgette Bar, Roy Oh from Roy’s Korean Kitchen and Rogelio Herrera from Modern Steak and Edmonton Chef Davina Moraiko joining Charlottetown Chefs Adam Loo and Chris Gibbs in serving beautiful tasting plates of their creations.
